Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks to ensure smooth application.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Select and mix paints to achieve desired color and texture, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and tape to avoid damage or mess.
• Collaborate with property managers and clients to choose appropriate color schemes and finishes.
• Perform touch-ups and repairs on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during all painting tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high standards and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a painter with knowledge of various painting techniques.
• Strong understanding of surface preparation, paint types, and application methods.
• Ability to mix and match paints for color consistency.
• Attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that involve standing, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
